Marigold Arch: a wedding invitation template
A cream watercolour card: your photograph in a tall arch, your names written across it in a flowing hand, and painted marigolds, gazanias and daisies blooming in the corners.
The design
The invitation is one card of cold-pressed watercolour paper, and the arch is its grammar. It opens on your photograph in a tall arch that fades into the paper at the foot, a fine terracotta line drawn round it, The Wedding of written along its curve and your names signed across the bottom of the picture, with the date set between ruled lines as on a printed card. Painted flowers (marigolds, gazanias and yellow daisies, from a real botanical watercolour) sit in the corners on soft peach washes; touch one and it turns on its stem while a fresh wash blooms into the paper behind it. Down the card every part has its own arch: your welcome, the days left, your story in arched photographs, the ceremony and the reception side by side, the order of the day with a daisy for every hour, the wedding party, what to wear (tap a colour and watercolour floods into the clothes), your photographs, the gifts and the questions. When the reply is sent, the flowers gather round the last arch like a bouquet.

Marigold Arch comes in 3 colourways: Terracotta & marigold, Sage & marigold and Dusty rose & marigold, with 2 type pairings: Signature & Playfair and Brush & Bodoni. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.

You write your own words and add your photos in the live editor, send every guest a personal link by email or any messaging app, and follow the replies as they come in.
