Evite is the name most people think of for online invitations, and for a quick party it works. For a wedding, a christening or a big birthday, two things send people looking for an alternative: the ads on free invitations, and a Premium price that climbs with the guest list.
How Evite is priced (November 2026)
- Free: free designs, with ads shown to your guests.
- Premium, one time per event: $17.99 for up to 12 guests, $36.99 for up to 30, $68.99 for up to 75, $99.99 for up to 750. Premium removes the ads and adds envelopes and stickers, animated reveals, exclusive designs and a host photo gallery.
- Evite Pro: $249.99 a year for people who host often.
How Our Sweet Day is different
- No ads, ever. Not on free events, not on paid ones.
- One price for the event, not by guest count. Free for up to 20 guests with the full design; past that, $25.00 for the event. A 100-guest wedding costs $25.00, where Evite Premium would be $99.99.
- The invitation is a whole page. Each design is built from scratch around one idea: a watercolour that is still wet, a film title sequence, a stationery suite. Guests scroll through your day, your people and your photos, and reply inside the invitation.
- Made for the big occasions. Weddings carry the programme, the entourage and sponsors and what to wear; christenings the godparents; there are designs for kids' birthdays, debuts and grown-up birthdays, and proposals for godparents and sponsors.
- A personal link for each guest, with plus-ones, a guest list you can import and export, a seating floor plan, a checklist and a budget.
When Evite is the better choice
For a casual get-together where you just need a date, a place and a yes or no, Evite's free tier is quick, and its brand is familiar to guests. If you host a lot of small parties every year, Evite Pro may also make sense.
