Quinceañera Invitations: Wording, Padrinos and the Court of Honour
Our Sweet Day Team, October 26, 2026
A quinceañera marks a girl's fifteenth birthday, often with a mass, a court of honour and a celebration that families plan for months. The invitation sets the tone, so it is worth getting the words right.
Choose a Birthday Template
On Our Sweet Day, create a birthday and choose the debut kind: it adds the court of honour (cotillion and escort) and a message from the parents.
Wording Examples
- "Con la bendición de Dios y el cariño de mis padres, tengo el honor de invitarle a celebrar mis XV años"
- "With the blessing of God and the love of her parents, Isabel invites you to celebrate her fifteenth birthday"
Padrinos and Madrinas
Sponsors often help with the dress, the crown, the cake, the last doll or the mass. Ask each one personally with "Ask sponsors" on your event page: their link names them and the role, and they answer Yes or No.
The Court of Honour
List the damas and chambelanes in the court section, with the chambelán de honor first.
The Program
The Program section takes the order of the day: the mass, the arrival, the presentation, the waltz with her father, the cake and the dancing.
Practical Details
1. Write the address of the church and the hall in full
2. Say what to wear in the Attire section
3. Give each family a personal link with the number of guests invited, so the headcount stays accurate
