The Album: a wedding invitation template
Your wedding as an album in a dark music app: the day is the tracklist, your story is the lyrics, and guests reply by adding themselves to the guest list.
The design
Guests open "duet", a music app of our own, on your album page: your photo as the cover art, "Album · 2027", your two names as the artists and a release date that counts down. The program is the tracklist, each part of the day a track with its real running time (the last one lasts ∞). The player is real: play, skip and scrub drive the song you upload, and while it plays your story scrolls by as lyrics, line by line, your photos drift as canvas loops and the vinyl spins. The ceremony is "Live at" the venue with the reception as the after-show, the entourage are the credits, the dress code is the vinyl variants, gifts are "Support the artists", questions sit in the About card, and the reply adds the guest to your Guest list playlist. On a phone it is the app with its mini-player and tabs; on a computer it is the desktop app with a side rail and a now-playing panel.
Colours and type
The Album comes in 3 colourways: Ember, Velvet and Gilt, with 2 type pairings: Bricolage Grotesque & Figtree and Instrument Serif & Geist. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.

What is included
An invitation website with the day's details and places, the programme, the entourage and sponsors, what to wear, your photos, a song if you want one, and the RSVP with plus-ones. You write your own words and add your photos in the live editor, send every guest a personal link by email or any messaging app, and follow the replies as they come in. Free for up to 20 guests, with the full design.
