One Heart: a wedding invitation template
Your names written huge in a Kai hand on bare paper, a single red thread hanging under each one and running through the whole invitation.
The design
A paper cover with a brush-written invitation, the two names enormous on hanging silk, and the date set the Chinese way beside the lunar date. Numbered chapters follow the one thread: it pins each story photograph and snakes down the page edge, weaves two strands across a photograph, ties a paired-loop knot when the page turns to night under a moon, rests as a red rail under the day's hours, binds sponsors in pairs, and closes into a ring.
Colours and type
One Heart comes in 4 colourways: Red silk on paper, Gold thread, Peach blossom and Jade & vermilion, with 3 type pairings: WenKai & Cormorant, Klee & EB Garamond and Song serif & DM Sans. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Style
Cultural, from the chinese tradition.
What is included
An invitation website with the day's details and places, the programme, the entourage and sponsors, what to wear, your photos, a song if you want one, and the RSVP with plus-ones. You write your own words and add your photos in the live editor, send every guest a personal link by email or any messaging app, and follow the replies as they come in. Free for up to 20 guests, with the full design.
