Grand Tour Passport: a birthday invitation template
A milestone birthday issued as a passport of the guest of honour's own republic: the cover swings open to the data page, every section is a visa page with real ink stamps, and the reply earns your entry stamp.
The design
Opens on a leather passport cover with our own gold-foil emblem (a compass rose in a laurel, the age at its heart) and the name of an invented nation: the Republic of the birthday person. The cover swings open on the data page: the photo with its ghost image, the fields printed in three languages, the age in the Age field, a date of expiry the morning after ("valid for one night"), the milestone under Observations, the machine-readable lines along the bottom and an ADMITTED stamp that lands with a thud. A UV lamp brings out the hidden fluorescent ink. Every page after it is security paper with a generated guilloché, bound on the left and perforated with the passport number: the official request on the inside cover carries the invitation, the visa is the venue (with the after-party as a transit visa and a countdown to the day it becomes valid), the itinerary is a route of stamp boxes guests stamp themselves, the travel history is a page of old entry stamps, the dress code is a list of distinguishing marks with ink pads to try, the photos are printed as visas, gifts are the duty-free allowance, questions are the customs declaration, and the reply is the arrival card, which gets its entry stamp the moment you send it. The back cover closes the book.

Grand Tour Passport comes in 3 colourways: Burgundy, Diplomatic navy and Forest green, with 2 type pairings: Prata & Instrument Sans and Libre Caslon Display & Schibsted Grotesk. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.

What is included
An invitation website with the party's details and place, your photos, a song if you want one, and the RSVP with the number of adults and children coming. You write your own words and add your photos in the live editor, send every guest a personal link by email or any messaging app, and follow the replies as they come in. Free for up to 20 guests, with the full design.
