Pâtisserie: a birthday invitation template
The invitation is a little French pastry shop with the birthday child's name in gold leaf over the door: a striped cake box whose lid lifts on the age, a menu card for the program and an order slip for the reply.
The design
Opens on a shopfront: a scalloped striped awning unrolls, the shop lights come on behind the gilt-framed window where the child stands, the fascia's gold-leaf letters spell "Pâtisserie" and the child's name, and on the sill the ribbon-tied lid of a striped cake box lifts off a cake, where the gold age candle lands and is lit. Guests can ring the brass shop bell and lift the lid again. Inside the shop everything is the pâtisserie's own paper and glass: a cream menu card with gold-foil rules for the welcome, a special-order cake seen from above where a piping bag pipes the child's name in icing (with the countdown on the order ticket), the history of the house as a list of specialities by year, the box label for the address, la carte for the program with dot leaders to the time, the allergen notice for parents, a glass display case with macarons in the dress-code colours and pastries to pick for your box (handwritten price cards and all), photos fresh from the oven on paper doilies, gift boxes, questions at the counter and a numbered baker's order slip for the reply: send it and your box is lidded, tied with ribbon and stamped "Commande confirmée".
Colours and type
Pâtisserie comes in 3 colourways: Pistache, Framboise and Chocolat, with 2 type pairings: Yeseva One & Spectral and Gloock & Newsreader. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, in the Themed style.
