The Docuseries: a birthday invitation template
A birthday as a streaming docuseries: the age is the season, the story is the episodes, the program trends in the Top 10 and replying is rating it a thumbs up.
The design
Guests open "vérité", a documentary-streaming app of our own, on the title page of the celebrant's life: an Original docuseries now entering its new season, so an 18th is "Season 18". A cold open sets the scene in two lines of documentary text, then the photo zooms into the title. The play button, the episodes and the trailer all play the host's own song, and the trailer runs the photos as a film with its own title cards. "Continue watching" stops a day before the premiere, the seasons run from 1 to the age with the story's moments as episodes, "Premieres in" counts down with a Remind me bell, the venue is where to watch it (in theatres only) with an after-credits scene, the dress code is the subtitles and wardrobe settings, the photos are the stills and questions are a Q&A with the directors. Debuts get the 18 Roses as the Top 18 today, the 18 Candles as Shorts that light on a tap, the Treasures as extras and bonus features, the toasts as commentary tracks, the court as the cast and the parents' message as the director's statement. Grown-ups get the program as the Top 10 in town, a spoiler warning for surprises and a maturity rating for adults only. The reply is "Rate this": thumbs up. A phone app with a tab bar; a desktop app with a side rail.
Colours and type
The Docuseries comes in 3 colourways: Screening Room, Nightbloom and Daylight, with 2 type pairings: Gloock & Geist and Epilogue & Red Hat Text. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for adult and debut, in the Themed style.
