Living Light: a birthday invitation template
A living gradient in colours you pick yourself: huge type floating on soft aurora light, every detail set on frosted panes of the same glow, and a ripple of colour wherever a guest touches.
The design
The whole invitation is light. Pick two or three colours and they become a slow mesh of aurora behind everything, blended the way light blends (red and green meet in amber, never in mud), with its own highlights and shadows so even two quiet greys look lit. The light comes up from the dark as the name focuses in, a held beat, then the age blooms in a numeral filled with your colours. After that it only moves when your guests do: scroll and the blooms drift past at their own depths, tap anywhere and a ripple of colour spreads from the finger with a soft note, tap the age and every colour moves one place. Each section is a pane of frosted glass catching the same light: the story as stops along a gradient, the evening as a ramp from first light to last with a playhead you can move, questions that clear when tapped, photos the light washes over, and a reply that adds your own light to the room. Debuts get eighteen shades on a colour wheel for the roses, eighteen points of light to switch on for the candles, a swatch book of keepsakes and the court in two-tone pairs; kids get a pane for the grown-ups dropping off; adults a surprise kept in the dark.
Colours and type
Living Light comes in 3 colourways: Frosted glass, Smoked glass and Milk glass, with 2 type pairings: Instrument Serif & Hanken Grotesk and Unbounded & Albert Sans. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, adult and debut, in the Themed style.
