Harry Potter Marauder's Map: a birthday invitation template
A Harry Potter birthday that is the Marauder's Map itself: the oath writes itself in ink, the child's footprints walk down the parchment, and every part of the party is a place on the map to tap, lift, light and catch.
The design
Opens on blank parchment. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" inks itself in, then the cover draws: Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present the child's own birthday map, the castle with the name on its banner and the child's moving photograph. Catch the Golden Snitch (it gets away twice) and it opens at the close to show the age. As the guest scrolls, footprints labelled with the child's name walk down the map, and Harry, Ron and Hermione's join them. Every section is a place: the Great Hall's floating candles to light for the date, four house-point hourglasses that pour for the countdown, growing footprints for the story, a secret-passage flap to lift for the venue, the class timetable, a decree for the grown-ups, a house scarf that knits itself in the party's colours, moving photographs, the Messrs answering the questions in their own hand, Hedwig carrying the reply away, and "Mischief managed" to wipe the map clean.
Colours and type
Harry Potter Marauder's Map comes in 4 colourways: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, with 2 type pairings: IM Fell & La Belle Aurore and Almendra & Cedarville. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, in the Themed style.
What is included
