Till Receipt: a birthday invitation template
A birthday printed as one long thermal till receipt: the venue in the shop header, a life itemised line by line, and the age rung up as the total.
The design
Opens at the till: a receipt printer sits at the foot of the screen and the receipt feeds up out of it line by line, header first, the photograph printing in thermal dots, the name in double-height print; a held beat, the cutter snaps, the printer drops away and the milestone strikes in red. The whole invitation is that one receipt. The venue is the shop header, the hosts are on the till, and the story is life, itemised: every moment a line item priced in the years since the last, a subtotal, a birthday tax of one year and TOTAL: 30 in red ink, paid by love, no change due. The evening is the itemised order (tap a line to scan it), the questions are the returns policy, the gifts a gift receipt with the prices hidden, the photographs dithered prints that reprint in colour when tapped, and the reply is the customer copy: sign here, keep your receipt, and a red PAID IN FULL stamp lands. Tap the total to ring it up again, scan the barcode at the foot for a price check. Works for every kind: kids get a collection slip for parents; grown-ups get the age-restricted till prompt and a staff-only line in heat-sensitive print for surprises; debuts get the management's note from the parents, the court as paired items and the 18 Roses, Candles and Treasures as their own coded line items, however many there are.
Colours and type
Till Receipt comes in 3 colourways: Till Roll, Pink Roll and Faded Copy, with 2 type pairings: Martian Mono & Azeret Mono and Doto & DM Mono. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, adult and debut, in the Themed style.
