Birthday Profile: a birthday invitation template
The birthday as a profile page on our own blue social network: a cover photo, a round profile picture, an Intro card, life events, a photo album and a wall full of posts, reactions and comments, where the reply lands as the guest's own comment.
The design
Opens like a phone notification ("Isa invited you to her 18th"): the banner drops in, gets tapped, and the profile loads out of its grey loading skeleton: the cover photo resolves, the profile picture pops inside a birthday ring that draws itself round, and the name, the facepile and the Going button rise into place. It is a profile on "cakebook" all the way down: an Intro card for the invitation, an event card with the countdown, a check-in post with a drawn map for the venue, a pinned post with the plan for the night, life events for the story, a poll for the dress code, a photo album that opens in a full-screen viewer, a shared link for gifts, a comment thread where the hosts answer the questions, and a notification bell whose alerts jump to each part. Every post can be liked, or long-pressed for our own reactions (Like, Love, Cake, Haha, Wow), each with its own little sound. The reply is written in the comment box, and appears on the wall as the guest's own comment, highlighted, with a shower of hearts. Works for every kind: kids get a post in the parents' group with drop-off, pick-up, allergies and what to bring; grown-ups get a private group for a surprise and an "Adults only" audience post; debuts get the 18 Roses as a friends grid, the 18 Candles as wishes in the comments, the 18 Treasures as a reactions list, the court as tagged pairs and the parents' letter as a post on her wall.
Colours and type
Birthday Profile comes in 3 colourways: Classic Blue, Dark Mode and Throwback 2009, with 2 type pairings: Figtree and Bricolage & Onest. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, adult and debut, in the Themed style.
