Birthday Replay: a birthday invitation template
A birthday as a year-in-review: full-screen story slides with giant stats, bold colour blocks and ranked top lists, building to the age as the number of all time, and ending on a card guests reply from.
The design
The invitation is the celebrant's own Replay: a run of full-screen slides with progress bars across the top, told the way a year-in-review tells you about yourself. It opens with colour stripes wiping across, a ring drawing itself around the cover photo and the name landing in huge wide type: "40 years, played back". Guests tap right to move on (left to go back, or swipe), and every slide is one confident idea on its own flat colour: the days alive as a giant counter that switches to hours, minutes and heartbeats when tapped; the story as a pull quote and the moments as a ranked "your top moments" list; then the climax, "and your top number of all time is...", a drumroll, a held beat, and the age slams in. The details are the next release with its drop date, the program is tonight's setlist, the dress code is a set of colour swatches that repaint the slide, the photos are the most replayed, the questions open one by one, and the last slide is the share card, which the reply flips into the guest's own card, stamped Added. Works for every kind: debuts get their top 18 Roses, 18 candles lit with a tap, 18 Treasures unwrapped and the court as a line-up of features; kids get a slide for parents; adults get a top-secret slide for surprises and a grown-ups-only rating.

Birthday Replay comes in 3 colourways: Afterglow, Pool Party and Lemon Ink, with 2 type pairings: Archivo Expanded & Instrument Sans and Unbounded & Onest. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.

What is included
An invitation website with the party's details and place, your photos, a song if you want one, and the RSVP with the number of adults and children coming. You write your own words and add your photos in the live editor, send every guest a personal link by email or any messaging app, and follow the replies as they come in.
