The Favour Table: a christening invitation template
The bomboniere table on the christening morning, seen from above: one satin ribbon unspools down the table as you read, threading every favour and tag of the day, and ends tied to your own.
The design
The invitation is the favour table on the morning of the christening, seen from above: a whitewashed oak table, a hemstitched linen runner, window light from the upper left, and on it tulle bombonieres of five sugared almonds tied with satin, card tags, loose almonds, silver frames and spools of ribbon, all rendered with their shadows and laid the way a hand would leave them. One satin ribbon runs the length of the table. It leaves the bow of the first favour and unspools down the page as the guest reads, threading the name tag, the tag with the service, and a favour for each moment of the day, and it ends tied to the guest's own tag when they reply. The child's particulars are the five almonds of the favour, one for each traditional wish; the godparents are spools of ribbon that roll and let out a length printed with their part; the photographs lie in silver frames; questions are notes folded and tucked under the tray.
Colours and type
The Favour Table comes in 3 colourways: Ivory tulle, gold ribbon, Blush tulle, dusty rose ribbon and Sky tulle, powder-blue ribbon, with 2 type pairings: Ribbon & knot and Confetti copperplate. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
