Jurassic Fossil Dig: a birthday invitation template
The invitation is a paleontologist's field journal from a Jurassic Park fossil dig: the birthday kid is brushed out of the sand, and every detail is dug up on its own journal page.
The design
Opens on the first page of a field journal from the dig: a staked sand quadrat with string lines where a brush sweeps the sand away to reveal the child's photo and a half-buried raptor skeleton, the name stenciled like a specimen label and a taped-in print of Blue ("Fig. 1: what we think it looked like"). Every section after is another page of the same journal, written in pencil on graph paper: a growth series under Osborn's T. rex skeleton with the T. rex taped beside it, the locality on a specimen tag, the program drawn as rock strata (read top to bottom, unlike real rocks) with a Triceratops plate, site safety notes for grown-ups, the field kit as paint chips, photos laid out as excavation quadrats, questions from the dig crew measured against a Brachiosaurus, and a crew roster to sign for the reply.
Colours and type
Jurassic Fossil Dig comes in 3 colourways: Badlands field book, Amber & leather and Museum archive, with 2 type pairings: Saira Stencil & Kalam and Allerta Stencil & Patrick Hand. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, in the Themed style.
What is included

You write your own words and add your photos in the live editor, send every guest a personal link by email or any messaging app, and follow the replies as they come in.
