Kuromi Mischief Diary: a birthday invitation template
The invitation is the birthday kid's black Kuromi diary: a padded cover marked KEEP OUT, then the party written up as entries on its ruled pages, with skull doodles in every margin.
The design
Kuromi's hobby is keeping a diary, so the whole invitation is one. It opens on the padded black cover: a pink elastic strap, a name label with the age as the volume number, a warning sticker ("PRIVATE. KEEP OUT. This means you, My Melody.") and the photo stuck on with photo corners while pen doodles draw themselves around it and Kuromi pops up from behind it with a wink. Every section after that is a dated entry on the ruled pages, with a mood check of skull faces, highlighter on the facts and doodles in the margins: "Dear Diary" with the days crossed off one by one, the story so far, the secret meeting place, the plan crossed out and renamed the plot while Kuromi laughs behind her hand, a page grown-ups are allowed to read, what to wear (black, obviously), the evidence in photo corners, a wish list, things people keep asking, a sign-up page that Kuromi swoops across on Baku, and a last page that ends "To be continued in Vol. 10".
Colours and type
Kuromi Mischief Diary comes in 3 colourways: Black diary, Lavender gel pen and Pink lock, with 2 type pairings: Caveat Brush & Patrick Hand and Gochi Hand & Gaegu. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.
Who it suits
Made for kids, in the Themed style.
What is included
