Moana Wayfinder's Chart: a birthday invitation template
The invitation is a hand-drawn Pacific sea chart: Moana sets sail across the child's photo, and every part of the party is an island on one route the canoe sails as you scroll.
The design
Opens on the title sheet of a wayfinder's chart: the child's name in engraved caps, a star compass holding the age, the photo as a big inset with a graduated border, and Moana sailing in on a swell the ocean lifts. A dashed route runs from her wake down the whole page, and a canoe glyph rides it as you scroll. Each section is an island on that route, built only from chart parts: the countdown is the scale bar to landfall, the story a chain of islets, the venue the island where we make landfall, the program a star path read by Moana under the night sky, notes for parents a chart legend, the dress code colours to fly as sails, photos as numbered insets, questions as reef notes, the wish list as cargo, and the reply the crew list, with Maui leaping in to say "You're welcome!". At the bottom the map ends, and Heihei is walking off the edge.

Moana Wayfinder's Chart comes in 3 colourways: Chart parchment, Night navigation and Lagoon admiralty, with 2 type pairings: IM Fell & Alegreya and Alegreya SC & Alegreya Sans. The colours and type change in the editor at any time; the layout stays its own.

What is included
An invitation website with the party's details and place, your photos, a song if you want one, and the RSVP with the number of adults and children coming.
